| Colloid chemistry and physics, interfacial phenomena in surfactant and polymer solutions (Gibbs and Langmuir monolayers, dynamic surface tension, two-dimensional rheology of adsorption layers, stimuli sensitive monolayers), formulation and properties of highly concentrated emulsions or biliquid foams (rheology, adhesion, phase inversion, relation to microemulsion properties), colloidal aspects of micro- and namoencapsulation (vectorization and transfection of bioactive and genetic substances), thermodynamics of microscopic thin liquid films and membranes (contact angle, adhesion force, line tension, stability to rupture). |
